Statement
I am a painter; a sculptor and I also make handmade paper works of art. My approach to papermaking is influenced by my work in sculpture and painting. I find the spontaneity of the media, the textures and multiple layering of shapes and colors compelling. “Swimming” and “Baja” reflect my fascination with nature and the idea of art as the construction of personal worlds.
